Mathnasium Classroom
Grant Program

Giving Back to Atlanta Schools,
One Classroom at a Time

The Mathnasium Learning Centers of Atlanta award $25,000 in education grants each year  to help local schools and teachers enhance math achievement. The grants, typically awarded in increments of $100 to $500 each, are awarded to K-8 teachers with innovative classroom initiatives that support math education.

Classroom grants will be awarded to initiatives that directly enhance math education, especially projects that encourage students to explore math through hands-on activities, games and puzzles, or real-world challenges. The application process is simple - just read the criteria below and apply online.

Eligibility and Deadlines

Classroom grants are intended to benefit math education in elementary and middle schools. We encourage teachers to apply directly after receiving approval from relevant school administrators. Award checks will be made payable to your school.

Only schools within the service area of a local Mathnasium Learning Center are eligible. Each of the 30+ Mathnasiums in the Atlanta Metropolitan area serves a particular community and geographic area. If your school is outside of those geographic areas, your proposal may not be considered.

Proposals are evaluated on an ongoing basis. While there is no official deadline, grant funds may be depleted prior to the end of the school year. In the event your proposal cannot be funded this year, we may encourage you to reapply in the next annual cycle.
